"And pregnant women also must take care of their bodies, not avoiding exercise nor adopting a low diet … for children before birth are evidently affected by the mother just as growing plants are by the earth." Aristotle, Politics, Book VII, Chapter XVII
PRENATAL ALIGNMENT CLASS
Our ultimate goals for you and your baby are a healthy and painfree pregnancy, happy memories of your birth
and an easy recovery.
We all know that a healthy lifestyle includes physical activity in addition to the nutrients from a wholesome diet and sufficient periods of rest and sleep. But are we getting enough "movement nutrients" and are we getting it right? Here are some facts:
Reality Check 1:We spend most of the day sitting on sitting devices. On chairs. Benches. Sofas. In cars. On toilets! All this sitting occurs at home, on the bus, at work, at the restaurant, in the park. North Americans even bring their folding chairs to music festivals!
I am so glad I found Susanne and Jillian's prenatal alignment class! The six-week program was exactly what I needed to keep my pregnancy pain free. I expected to encounter the same back and leg pain that became a familiar friend in my first pregnancy, but the exercises and tips I learned in the class transformed the second half of my pregnancy. This class offers help for keeping you as comfortable as possible during pregnancy, getting your baby into a good position, preparation for labor and lessons on alignment that can be used for the rest of your life - every pregnant woman should take this class!
I have a love-hate relationship with facebook. I love it when I see a link to really cute minimal shoes like these ones. But I get rather turbulent flow in my blood vessels when I come across people saying stuff like:
'I had an awesome leg workout. I had to take the elevator down because my legs were so sore.'
or 'Great workout. I hobbled home'. Haha.
